Rules
Tucson Parks Foundation $1,000,000.00 Hole-in-One Contest
All competitors agree to abide by these rules as a condition of participating in the Tucson Parks Foundation Hole-in Contest.
· This event is strictly for amateurs. Professional golfers may not compete and are ineligible for prizes. The rules of golf apply.
· You must use provided golf balls that you purchase from TPF volunteers. All shots must be taken from the mats provided.
· Competitors purchase official colored balls from the Tucson Parks Foundation Volunteers – 10 for $10.00 – 20 for $20.00 etc.
· Daily prizes will be awarded for the six shots closest to the pin. If there are more than 3 holes-in-one on any day all holes-in-one will qualify for the semi-finals. The first hole-in-one on any day qualifies as first prize, the second as second as second prize, etc. A contestant may only win one daily prize on any given qualifying day.
· The three closest to the pin each day qualify for the semi-final round. The six closest to the pin in the semi-final round will qualify for the finals and a chance to win $1,000,000.00.
· All measurements made by the TPF volunteer assigned to measure closet to the pin are final. The TPF volunteer will only measure those shots that legitimately may qualify for the daily prizes or semi-final round. The volunteer will signal when he/she is going on the green to measure – ALL COMPETITORS MUST STOP SHOOTING WHEN SIGNALED.
· The semi-final and final rounds will be held on March 27, 2009 at or near 1:00 PM at Dell Urich golf course. No-exceptions. If a qualifier is not present he/she will lose the opportunity to compete. No one may compete in the semi-final or final round without qualifying. No mulligans. No substitutions.
· No competitor may qualify for more than one shot in the semi-final or final round. Competitors may win more than one daily prize on separate days but do not qualify for more than one shot for the $1,000,000.00 prize.
· This event takes place on a golf course – all competitors assume all known and unknown risks of being on a golf course – including but not limited to – errant shots from other competitors and adjacent fairways, other competitors golf swings, golf carts, uneven surfaces, wet grass, weather –hot, cold rainy or windy, animals, insects and other natural or manmade conditions found on a golf course.
